2018 15th THAIFEX – World of Food Asia – Event Highlights

In 2018, THAIFEX expanded to 11 exhibition halls and continued to promote dedicated zones for Halal and organic foods. In 2017, THAIFEX attracted 2,169 exhibitors from 46 countries, covering a total exhibition area of 93,500 square meters, with 49.7% of exhibitors coming from overseas. That year, the event welcomed 55,111 visitors from 130 countries, including 11,982 visitors from outside Thailand—a 26% increase. Among these attendees, approximately 2,000 buyers were invited by the organizers, representing regions such as Northeast Asia (33%), Southeast Asia (28%), Europe and America (18.7%), the Indochina Peninsula (5%), the Americas (11%), Europe and the Middle East (14%), and Oceania (4%).

DAY YOUNG will attend the event at the Impact Exhibition Center (IEC) Hall 2 in Bangkok, showcasing a wide range of disposable tableware to key food trade clients worldwide. Products include paper cups, PET cups and lids, PP cups, PP soup cup lids, fruit containers, tomato boxes, deli cups, ice cream cups, yogurt cups, fried chicken buckets, American-style takeout boxes, bento boxes, and various paper food containers. These diverse, high-quality packaging solutions are designed to meet customers’ needs and demonstrate Taiwan’s advanced capabilities in food container manufacturing and design—helping Taiwan reach the global stage while welcoming the world to Taiwan.
